Procedures
1. Enter the room quietly. Walk directly to your assigned seat
and be seated.
2. Organize
your materials and agenda book. Open
your book, have
Homework ready to check, then sharpen
your pencils. Copy the daily
assignments, homework, due dates, special
events, projects, etc. into your
agenda book.
3. Complete
Warm-Ups. Begin working immediately
on the warm-up. It will
be on the board or the overhead.
4. Listen
carefully and take good notes.
Participate! Students learn more when
they are actively involved in their own
learning. Take note in your own works, copy examples, and outline the main
ideas…
5. Raise
your hand to speak – Respect classmates by not interrupting.
6. Stay
on Task and Do Your Best! Train
yourself to focus on your assignment.
Persevere! This will help you complete your work on
time. We want you
to be well prepared for high school next
year. Collect your trash at your
desk to be placed in the trash container
as you exit the classroom for the class period
6. Prepare
to leave. Check to make sure you
have all of your belongings. Return materials
and clean your area. Gather trash to be
placed in the trash container.
7. Exiting
the Classroom. Exit in an orderly manner, placing trash in the
trash container as you are leaving the
classroom.
