1. Enter the room quietly.  Walk directly to your assigned seat

and be seated.

2. Organize your materials and agenda book.  Open your book, have

Homework ready to check, then sharpen your pencils. Copy the daily

assignments, homework, due dates, special events, projects, etc. into your

agenda book.

3. Complete Warm-Ups.  Begin working immediately on the warm-up. It will

be on the board or the overhead.

4. Listen carefully and take good notes.  Participate! Students learn more when

they are actively involved in their own learning. Take note in your own works, copy examples, and outline the main ideas…

5. Raise your hand to speak – Respect classmates by not interrupting.

6. Stay on Task and Do Your Best!  Train yourself to focus on your assignment.

Persevere!  This will help you complete your work on time.  We want you

to be well prepared for high school next year.  Collect your trash at your

desk to be placed in the trash container as you exit the classroom for the class period

6. Prepare to leave.  Check to make sure you have all of your belongings. Return materials

and clean your area. Gather trash to be placed in the trash container.

7. Exiting the Classroom. Exit in an orderly manner, placing trash in the

trash container as you are leaving the classroom.
