Students will be graded on a variety of activities.  All activities will be subject to the grading policies guidelines of SCS and GMS.  You may refer to the handbook for specific information.

Grading Scale

93-100         A

85 - 92         B

75 - 84         C

70 - 74         D

Below 70      F

 

*Students are graded on the “Total Points System”

All assignments carry the same weight. Each assignment is has a value of 100 points. Assignments include class work, participation, labs, projects, quizzes, and tests. You may average your child’s grade by adding all assignment scores then divide this total by the number of assignments that are being considered.

                                                 

*Students will be given a combination of homework, class work, tests, projects, quizzes, labs and reports.

 

*Cheating on any tests, quizzes, labs or any other work is unacceptable and will result in a zero on the given assignment without an opportunity for make-up.
