1. Provide ample study time and a quiet work environment to complete at

        home assignments and project.

2. Listen to your child as they prepare to present oral presentations,

        be the audience.

3. Proof read/edit “with” your child written work and reports that will

        be turned in to the teacher.

4. Plan ahead; create a time line for projects. Obtain materials in advance

        and monitor projects /assignments to completion.

5. Review agenda with your child – monitor class topics and assignments.

6. Bookmark the GMS website to be informed regarding school wide

        activities and announcements.

7. Communicate with your child

8. Check out your teachers’ web page to be aware of tentative weekly

        assignments, project assignment due dates, and current announcements.      

9. Communicate with your child’s teacher via e-mail, contacting the GMS

        school office to leave a message or schedule a team meeting.

10. Make sure your child is in attendance and on time!
